Keep costs in view

4 min · Explain who pays for the AI, what is capped today, and where a person sees what an answer cost.

1. On Klarwolf’s keys, each plan has an AI budget that caps what Klarwolf spends on AI per person. Scheduled tasks have their own caps and Research has daily caps.
2. On your own keys, the AI company bills you at its published per-use prices, not Klarwolf. A chat subscription (ChatGPT Plus, Claude’s paid plans, Perplexity Pro) is not an API key and cannot be connected.
3. Every answer’s receipt shows what it cost as it happens, in “Why this answer”.
4. Per-person spend limits you set yourself are not available yet. Until then, the plan’s budget and the receipts are your controls.
