What can be shared

3 min · Know what a shared answer contains and how to switch off the shared-answers option.

1. A shared answer is an unlisted link you can revoke. It shows the question, the answer and its sources, never your memory, other conversations, routing or cost.
2. Klarwolf asks before sharing anything that looks like an email address or phone number, and never shares anything that looks like a password or key.
3. On a personal account, a general answer (one that used none of your memories or files, with nothing personal in it, and that you did not mark wrong) can be shared without your name, so the next person who asks gets it. It is on unless you switch it off with one switch.
