Who pays for the AI

4 min · Explain which costs sit with Klarwolf, which sit with the AI company, and where the add-ons come in.

1. On Klarwolf’s keys, each plan has an AI budget that caps what Klarwolf spends on AI per person.
2. On your own keys, answers are billed to your account by the AI company at its published per-use prices, not by Klarwolf.
3. Some AIs cost more to run than the everyday models, so they are add-on switches: top models, Grok and Perplexity.
4. The plans page lists each plan and add-on and its price once prices are published. Write to us if you need a number that is not there.
